Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at ICADE, Universidad Pontificia Comillas, in Spain. I hold a Ph.D. in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, MA, USA.
My academic interests span International Trade Policy, International Business, Political Economy, and Economic Development. My research seeks to understand how political economy and geopolitical dynamics shape international markets and impact developing economies.
I have been a Kiel-CEPR International Summer Fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy in Berlin, Germany, and a research visitor in the International Business and Strategy Department at the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK.
Before my Ph.D. studies, I served as an adviser at the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Uruguay, my home country.
